Group Policy Management Console is one of the tools needed to do Active Directory Administration, especially if you want to control what Amazon Workspaces can do.
This is the same program that is launched when you run the command gpmc.msc on Windows Run.
To install Group Policy Management in Amazon Workspaces Windows 10, follow the tutorial below.
Steps to Install Group Policy Management
Open Start Menu, then click Server Manager.
Click Add roles and features. The Add Roles and Features Wizard will be opened.
On Before you begin, click Next.
On Select installation type, select Role-based or feature-based installation then click Next.
On Select destination server, click Next.
On Select server roles, do not select anything, click Next.
On Select features, click Group Policy Management. Click Next.
On Confirm installation selections, click Install. No need to check the Restart the destination server automatically if required.
Wait for the installation to finish.
Once installation is finished click Close.
Click on Start Menu and expand Windows Administrative Tools.
You should see Group Policy Management. Click on it to see the Group Policy Management Window.
We have now succesfully installed the Group Policy Mangement Window. You may now add Group policies to your Amazon Workspaces Windows 10 instances.
